HOBEN International: Formula8

Hoben International is pleased to announce its distribution rights to Formula 8 Rubber. This rubber has been formulated in the U.S.A. and is an exceptional all purpose moulding rubber which contains a high concentration of pure natural gum-rubber. This, combined with other high quality materials, produces a soft and pliable rubber mould. The unique system of cross linking produced when vulcanised gives a super tensile strength and produces a mould of very fine detail. The mould will fill better and have a longer life than other brands of rubber

In independent tests, formula 8 Rubber was found to have more than double the tear strength of all leading competitive brands. The superior fluidity of Formula 8 coupled with the extended time during which it remains fluid allows the rubber to reproduce the most delicate moulds more accurately and with less pressure. The rapid rate of vulcanisation ensures that the rubber mould achieves a fully cured state as soon as possible.

Formula 8 is also available in economy rolls which have a plastic protective backing on one side and a special powder on the other side which stops the rubber sticking to itself. This powder should not be removed and it has the added advantage of allowing a packed mould to be pulled apart adjusted and then repacked.
