HOBEN International: Tru-Flex & Stereo 'C'

Tru-Flex: Hoben International’s best selling brand, Tru-Flex is soft and flexible, allowing the wax patterns to be easily stripped from the mould, increasing the efficiency of the mould maker.

Tru-flex is capable of reproducing the finest details. High elasticity allows the mould to separate cleanly from the model whilst its plastic ‘memory’ allows the mould to regain its exact shape prior to distortion.

Stereo ‘C’: Buff coloured Stereo ‘C’ is Hoben’s softest rubber. It is particularly pliable and ideally suited to the reproduction of highly detailed or undercut work where a tear-resistant and ultra-flexible rubber is the only choice.

Mould thickness: As a general rule, thin moulds i.e. 12mm – 16mm are best prepared with a slightly stiffer rubber, thick moulds with a slightly more flexible brand.
