The AMF 800 is a compact hand held electric furnace for melting metal alloys.  It is supplied with graphite crucible which provides a reducing atmosphere during melting.  The crucible is designed for easy pouring of the metal directly from the furnace and is ideal for use in casting, alloying and refining of metals.

The AMF 800 contains a low inertia resistance heater insulated within a ceramic fibre muffle. The solid state temperature controller allows the furnace to operate up to a maximum attainable temperature of 1150ºC.
