Hoben International specialises in formulating industrial investment powders, specifically for the casting of large, thin wall castings in aluminium and other low temperature non-ferrous alloys under vacuum.

These investments are specially formulated to have high pre-fired strength and good thermal shock properties, making them especially suitable for large castings with troublesome cores. Hoben’s unique knowledge of investment powder technology allows these industrial investments to be soft enough after casting to be easily removed.

It is not advisable to use these investments with metals which melt above 1100^oC.
